Was very impressed with the service. I really appreciate the initial in-depth consultation, and the explaination of how accupuncture works. Dr. Fernandez is not new age-y but has an education in both the US and China, so an understanding and respectful balance of eastern and western practices. Repeat visits (like excercise) is encouraged for the most effective results but I actually felt significant results for my arthritic neck and shoulder pain after the first visit. I used a Groupon to check out this service. Honestly I didn't know this place was here but it's in walking distance from home so that's a benefit to me. I had my consultation and first acupuncture session this morning. I honestly felt a sense of calm after she explained her findings. As I told her this made more sense to me then what a doctor told me about my pain that's only gotten worse. After this session, I felt relief and some of the pain subsided.
