I was in this store for 10 minutes and I was followed around this store by multiple employees. I am Asian and based off of other ****** Reviews I saw, I am not the only person of color that has experienced something like this in this store. I am not sure if their staff has been instructed to follow people of color around the store or there has been a misunderstanding from the staff but the entire staff could benefit from racial bias training. I will never shop here again.
Local and National Artists Art Effect offers a good selection artistic pieces like frames, clocks, albums, miniatures, and even clothes and jewelry. A portion of the products are made by nationally known crafters while others a created by local artists. The setting parallels a boutique but emits more energy. You can find unique clothing and may just enjoy the visit to inspire the artist or designer in you. Prices can run a little high but most go straight to their creators pocket.
Good, more unique gifts Art Effect has a lot of great gift items - a kitcheny themed section (with dessert plates and fun cookbooks), lots of jewelry, photo frames, a baby section, and myriad other items. They also have a small but nice selection of clothes, but sizes are very limited.
Pricy and small, but gorgeous Don't bring a bag into this store! It's packed to the gills with items from local and national artisans, and you're likely to bump into some of the goods (or perhaps another customer). The selection ranges from candles to books to reading glasses to pretty clothes that will make you pass out when you see the price tag. They do give decent earnings to the artists, though, so go to this shop if you've got both expendable income and a conscience.
Expensive, but fairly original boutique Art Effect is a great place to get a gift because the price range does vary from moderate to expensive and the items are unique and funky. The service can sometimes be bad, but for the most part it's worth a visit.

It features cute accessories like picture frames, candles and serving pieces as well as jelewry and bath and body stuff. They also sell clothing from local and national designers, but it's pricey. What a great store! – I love this store. It is the best for any kind of gift. Baby gifts, stocking stuffers, birthday...really anything. I really don't think I can walk out of the store with out having a bag in my hand. Each time I go in, there is something new to buy. Again, I love this store. I could go on for hours about it.
