As of 04/07/2026 Ron Zueger, owner of ARS General Contractors in Wheat Ridge, CO and Wylie TX has refused to answer our request to return our money. He has ghosted us completely. Missed our weekly meeting, no return calls or text messages. They have not completed the work they were paid to do. He has not provided a contract, and no work has been done since January 2026. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN MONEY.

Signed a contract with ARS in August 2025. Works has not been completed and we have essentially fired them. Here's a summary of problems: 1. Knowingly started work without permits or inspection and they were confronted by the city; this resulted in multi-weeks delay 2. Failed to properly pay contractors for work performed resulting in poor workmanship, a threat from one contractor to file a mechanics lean, and a revolving door of contractors 3. Shawn and his team did an incredible job from start to finish. We had a 1950s detached garage with rotting wood around the perimeter. When we called ARS Contracting, they were prompt with a response, came out within a few days, and had an estimate to us very quickly. Shawn was our contact and he made sure that we knew the process and what was going to happen next in each step of the way.
