I’ve been using the Center since I was a teen. I am very grateful to the service it’s made caring for my gynecological and sexual health easy throughout the years. I think the environment has always felt non judgmental. I think maybe a few years back there was a clinician that maybe some could take her tone as patronizing but she was just passionate about her job. Anyways I’ve seen many clinicians and nurses at the Center over the last 20 years and I always felt at home.
The staff were all judgmental which I thought wasn’t the goal for the center. They always talk about a judge free space, but when I went in there to talk about removing my iud and getting on the pill the doctor said “well that’s not the most mature choice”. I had my issues with my iud and couldn’t keep it any longer. When she gave me the pills at the end of the appointment she put them on the counter in the room and walked out. I have only had bad experiences here and will never go back.
