This was a great place to bring the kids(1 & 3 year old) Our room was awesome and we had a great time.
Let me start by saying the front desk staff is super friendly and helpful! We called having some online booking issues and they helped us figure it out. We called the day of our check in and were able to check in early. The room we were in felt/looked clean and big. The beds were not very comfy, they creaked with every move and left my body hurting in the morning. Sadly we have to put this review as when we booked this trip which is our 9th annual trip to Brainerd we experienced awful service. When we booked this trip we were told the waterpark would be open and everything was a go. As we approached Brainerd we called for early check in so our kids could play in the waterpark.. we were informed the waterpark along with the arcade was closed (not COVID related) because school was back in session. Hello Ali, I am sorry for the misunderstanding regarding the waterpark and arcade. We change to winter hours for the waterpark every year after Labor Day. The Arcade has been closed since March due to Covid. I am sorry that Cheryl, our front desk clerk and Shawn our Front Office Manager didn't handle the situation to your satisfaction. they can't even cut a pizza in squares instead of triangles for little kids and to top it off the hot tub was broken

Our rooms were not ready by 4pm check in time, we had a large group with 3 rooms and lots of small children. Not a single room was ready by 4pm so we all sat in the lobby with several babies who needed to nap. I even called ahead the morning of the reservation to request an early check in. I had to clean the rooms before we ate, fridge and counters were sticky and not clean. Bathroom smells like urine. They gave us drink tickets, finally got the kids to bed, 905 and the bar is closed can’t even use our tickets. Pool is chill... read more

We stayed at the Arrowwood with our three children (9, 7, and 5 months.) Upon arrival, our baby’s blanket dropped somewhere between the check in desk and our room. When we realized, we asked the front desk if it had been turned in and were met with a cold “no.” No one was willing to even look for us. This continued the duration of our stay as I continued checking in because this blanket was our son’s favorite.
