For 30 years I've known of this place, but never really visited. I'm now a fan. It's wonderful.
Rented an Airbnb and tried to get to the beach, but were turned away by the staff since we were short term renters (STR). They asked us to walk on the trail and access the lake from between the docks. Anyhow when we got situated between two random docks off the trail, a lady from one of the beach villas came over with her pitbull, off the leash.
