The doctor prescribed an eye drop that the insurance didn't cover. The insurance offered to cover several eye drops that are similar to the medication, but the doctor need to approve one of them. The insurance would also approve the specific prescribed medication if the doctor can provide some more details on why this specific medication is necessary over similar eye drops.
