the short process of trying to adopt with Arrow was very dishearten and frustrating. the lack of commutation was crazy. it took me forever to get a hold of anyone. the supervisor for FHD first called me 3 week after the 90 days and said later on she was just being straight forward and driving but she really made me feel like an awful person because I and low maintenance and also because I preferred a female but was open to either. after that i had to call them and get a hold of her again just to be told i was not approved. i... read more

We were foster parents with Arrow at Brownwood for 2 years. The experience was not a good one. In a Zoom meeting setting, a caseworker said I had become "unhinged" after having to have local crisis intervention with a child. In reality, we'd calmly handled an hours long crisis and then said later that it had been overwhelming and surely not typical. Somehow, this equals being "unhinged."
