We are incredibly disappointed with our experience this evening and will not be returning. I wanted to take my mom to dinner for Mother’s Day weekend and she suggested this restaurant because she had a Groupon she wanted to use. My husband and I travel to Ahwatukee from Scottsdale to meet my parents (who travel up from Casa Grande) halfway quite often at Va Bene. It was New Year's Eve so the place was backed up. It took nearly thirty minutes to be seated with a reservation and twenty minutes to get our salads.The food was good but it took a long time for it to come out. Besides that everything was fine. We eat here once, every two months and it's always excellent. The limited menu (which I knew about) coinciding with the few problems I mentioned just made it an average night.
Always enjoy our meals at Arrivederci. Nice portions & the ambience is very enjoyable! One of our favorite restaurants in Awhautukee.
My wife and I were talking on the way home about our experiences here and came to the conclusion we have always had an excellent evening. The food has never disappointed as well as the service. This last time my wife had the chicken cordon bleau and I had the lobster ravioli, excellent. This is our go to place.
