Piss poor customer service and blatant over charging for fraudulent repair diagnosis. The managers and all of the associates are in on the fix.... I came in for a simply tire repair and unbenounced to me, all of a sudden my air conditioning and heater stops working. Took my car to a friend and he noticed the mechanic took the cap off the air conditioning unit and bleed the anti freeze lines. Wow, please do not patronize this business. Ricks review is a joke....Damonhill is spot on their customer service is crap and they charge you for unnecessary stuff...will nickle and dime you to death then yell at a customer...ridiculous customer service...do not go here
Best Auto Service in Charlotte !!!!! – What an awesome group of guys. Damonhill is SOOO WRONG. They are fair, honest and extremely well priced. I am very frugal about my expenses and they are always better than the competition. I was there last month and they had someone with a bad engine, the owner told him it was no charge to check it, then sent him to the dealer as it was covered under warranty. You don't see that kind of honesty these days. They were $100 lower than the new Firestone on a $500 job. They have great review... read more
Not honest -avoid – I got quoted over the phone a decent price to replace a part. Once I got there, they wanted to charge me more than the dealership itself. When I inquired about the reason for this change in price, they told me the part they bought was $50. When I checked with the autopart next door, the part was $23. They still charged me $100 labor...for only half an hour, a do it yourself task that because I have arthritis, I can't do. Great price, Great Service – I visited this establishment for the first time today. The only reason I went was because they are close to where I live and I was afraid to drive my van much further. I was pleasantly surprised! The entire staff is professional and friendly. The waiting area is clean and the coffee was fresh and hot. Excellent Service – I needed to replace all 4 tires and have my car alligned. The men treated me with respect, answered all of my questions and even quoted me a lower price than a Walmart quote I had received. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was finished when I went there at 1pm. I would strongly reccomend Arowinds Tire. The car feels like it is brand new.
Wonderful service and workmanship!! – Awesome customer service. I do not like the treatment I get as a woman at most auto establishments. These guys explain everything in detail and are very well versed in adapting to a woman's lack of knowledge. I had asked for an alignment when my car had a wobble, they explained that is not what I needed and saved me money and educated me on some of the basics of the car on a fancy computer in the lobby. Excellent service with fair pricing. – Excellent...... Was shopping for brakes, stopped in Steele Creek and was quoted $200, for a basic brake service. I stopped in Arowinds and they were $129. Explained the service, and the premium pads. They showed me the issues with my car and explained everything on an interactive computer. I know nothing about cars but Jesse and Del (?) were great. They replaced my brakes for 75% of the competition with bendix ( I researched, they are great) and I got a NATIONWIDE warranty. The owners w... read more
WOW..... What a change...... – I have used this shop for the last few years. I never had a problem, but the customer service was never outstanding and a bit slow. I was in last week and was amazed. The business has new owners and the two guys are great. They were extremely helpful, and I was in and out in 45 minutes, where in the past it would have taken the entire day for my van.
