I would highly recommend Ms. Burns, She has brought my life back to live after 10 plus years and spending thousands of dollars to treat my freeway driving phobia. I was referred to Arolyn by the district attorney's office after I was involved in a domestic situation that resulted in criminal charges being filed against my ex. I contacted her and we set up an appointment for a phone consultation: I explained my situation and she agreed that I would benefit from counseling. I have been one of Arolyn's clients for over 4 years now. Coming to see Aroyln was one of the best decisions I have made in my 20's. Atmosphere: Aroyln has a charming and cozy office in Pasadena. Her waiting room has plenty of magazines to choose from , you can help yourself to a snack and a cup of coffee or tea while you wait to see her. Once inside here office its a calm gentle space. Arolyn was a breath of fresh air. I very much enjoyed chatting with her and thought her advice was very actionable, useful, and easy to implement. As others have mentioned, she is great listener, has a wonderful sense of humor, and was always eager to help. I highly recommend her as an advisor and general 'good ear'.

I have been a client of Arolyn’s for both hypnotherapy and talk therapy and cannot sing her praises enough. In regards to hypnotherapy, it is clear she is very experienced, but she is also very willing to listen to you and work with your individual needs. Oh my goodness where to start Arolyn really listens and hears what is said and from the very first appointment it felt it right. Always the professional in her manner. She explains the processes we will be doing and makes sure that it understood clearly before starting and it has been the greatest way to see results in a short time. I have had so many positive reactions to the changes others people see in me. No doubt the best time and money I have ever invested in me

Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns? Not at all! They were happy to address every concern I had Did this provider prominently display their diplomas or business license? Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in! Ms Burns has been incredibly helpful. I did not have great expectations for this type of therapy but was impressed by her manner and helpful techniques. She seems very professional yet I also felt comfortable. They have very nice chairs in their waiting room. It was a nice start to my appointment and helped me feel more comfortable and relaxed.
