HE WILL LEAVE YOU IN THE PREP ROOM FOR HOURS AT A TIME WITH NO REGARD FOR YOU DISCOMFORT. HE HAS DONE IT TO US 3 OUT OF 5 PROCEDURES AND HE ALWAYS HAS SOME BOLOGNA EXCUSE. INCREDIBLY INCONSIDERATE TO HIS PATIENTS
Last time i visited Dr. Chan, she was a bit rude and taken aback that i was healthy despite having low thyroid. She also didn't explain any future tests or the results of the tests that were taken. Also, she has no respect for her patients, before i turned an adult, dr. chan was fine with testing as a fasting blood draw every year. Now, every test i do is a fasting one, and it was never explained to me the reasoning behind it. Also, to boot, maybe one doesn't want too many blood draws. She didn't seem to respect that. I've had a lot of bladder, fertility & hormonal issues for years. Been to a slew of drs and no one could diagnose me. After one or two visits with Dr. Joanow, he had me diagnosed and medicated and on the right track. 3 years later and I am experiencing far less symptoms and still continue to see him
I had a procedure done at St. Anthony's Hospital by Dr. Aro.... I loved everyone at the hospital... The girls in the surgery room were so caring and made me feel so comfortable... The asisstant that's going to Africa Nikki was so nice... I wish her good luck in Africa. Dr. Aro is the best best....
I found him to be a bitter person with patient and had no patience to answer questions. He also believes that we all will die sooner or later.
30 minute wait time to have blood drawn. Dismissive receptionist.
Excellent doctor. She takes the time to explain everything. Most importantly, she listens to her patients.
Visited him in 2020- was forced to talk to him because of birth control which was prescribed by sharon Garcia. Personal Preference not considered. friendly, but was very rude about my pap smear results. ASCUS means abnormal or normal/ unclear. Dr. Joanow used this as a cancer scare when it isn't proof that it is cancer. I refused his treatment because i find the pap very uncomfortable, and if i find the pap uncomfortable then what makes you think i'm going to come back for a colosophy. Very very friend demenour. But had a very bad experience with her. Went to her this year, and she lied about bloodwork that she was testing for. She said to not worry about the iron, but yet she went ahead and ordered the ferratin test anyways. Should communicate about all tests that are being done.
