I have loved this park since I was a kid and I was born in the 50's! The former Roof Garden was my favorite dance place and miss it so! It was a rite of passage for teenagers as soon as they were old enough to be able to go there and dance to some fabulous bands. I wish you would rebuild the Roof Garden and put it up in the air like it used to be. Anything that says Roof Garden one would think would be located up above another structure. Turn the newer Roof Garden into a fine nite club. Sounds like a great idea, lol!
Very disappointed that the park was closed all week. From Aug 28 till Sat Sept 2, I understand Iowa schools have started already but you need to consider the out of state people that support the park also. We were their on vacation all week, and I'm sure their were more family's that would have supported the park all week also. Not even open Friday the 1 no reason for that!
