Went to the Haywood Regional emergency room vis ambulance in December 2024. I had went to this hospital about 15 years ago and my visit was phenomenal. It is anything but that now. No one seem happy doing their jobs. Short and curt to the point, Zero bedside manners. The real kicker for me is a got a collection notice from Capio Partners Collection Agency. Excellent care for my husband who was very sick. Front desk, nurses, and NP were professional and caring . His evaluation was very comprehensive and explanations were thorough and clear. The recommendation for hospitalization was very strong and may have saved my husband's life! We are so grateful to this staff for the outstanding quality of care they provide!

The Doctor himself is amazing. Precise and to the point. His office staff however are absolutely horrible. They text cancel your appointments without leaving a voicemail why. Amanda Forget about getting prescriptions on time, it has literally taken me over 3 months and they have done absolutely ZERO, I am Still Waiting and waiting.... Jesus' second coming will happen first If I would have applied for a job and done it myself it would have been faster. Go somewhere else unless you can wait half a year.

It's not a hospital, it's a corporation. It used to be one of the best hospitals, now it's all about the bottom line. The doctors introduce themselves as hospitalists. They are on the same track as Mission Hospital. During a recent stay at Haywood Regional, my husband was sent back to a health care facility with MRSA, sepsis, and pneumonia.
