Every year they have problems with the Mechanics and it's closed most of the beginning of summer🥱
I went swimming today with my husband, the second we came in to pay, a snobby life guard said to her coworker “if I didn’t work here, I would NEVER come here.” We live in the area and it’s the closest pool to us, an hour into our swim we are having fun and goofing around splashing each other and I went to use my husband as support (I am 7 months pregnant) and was holding onto him. The pool is nice. The down fall is I see Elders wants to swim, but they struggle to get in and out of the pool. They have the ladders for the 3 ft area and that’s just hard for them to get up and down or they try to use the side to get out which is a struggle for them as well. The pool has a lot of rules, can hear that whistle blowing every 10 minutes. The other Lincoln pools are not as strict. Would be nice for an upgraded pool in Airpark like the others in Lincoln.
The stafff was Incrediblely rude and singled my family out. It was so prejudiced. One life guard said “I’m not jumping in to save you I’m to lazy” not sure if that was supposed to be a joke but it made me feel unsafe for my kids. I will never be returning. Worst pool in lincoln.
