My boyfriend and I came to the Jazz Bistro to celebrate my birthday. Starting with the birthday greeting and balloon given by the hostess, it was a stellar experience. Our server, Jasper, was charming and efficient. He even made me a turtle from an old champagne bottle wire. The food was excellent. I had hangar steak; my boyfriend enjoyed the quail. Classy and elegant atmosphere, grate reinterpretation of classic cocktails and all of this for 8$ a drink, amazing bar
Service was tremendous. The food was delicious, in fact ate at another long time favorite the next day and the food just didn't compare. Arnaud's Oysters, Crab Cake, Potato Soufflé all excellent selections.
Service was great, food was amazing, a little pricey, and being forced to pay a music fee (which I guess we were supposed to be told by the hostess), even though they didn't "play" for us like they did for other tables, was crappy. Would've expected to have it removed from the bill given their mistake.
First Class very attentive staff, Great Time! Tourist looked like idiots in there shorts and tee shirts, lacking southern grace & manners.

The French 75 bar is a calm port in the storm of Bourbon St. and Chris Hannah is the lighthouse guiding us to solid ground. The staff are always flawlessly graceful and attentive, the cocktails as reliable as an old friend and the atmosphere feels fancy without lacking in the slightest, the comfort of your favorite neighborhood bar. PS - those little potato pillows are little bites of pure joy.
