We made reservations in the Jazz Bistro, and we were delighted! The food was wonderful, sweetbreads were awesome. So, the food was terrific as was the music!
My wife's birthday was ruined by bad food but worst of all an incompetent manager. A badly cooked dish can be corrected but if the management hasn't a clue how to deal with it the dining experience is doomed! There are so many well run restaurants in the French Quarter, don't waste you money on Arnaud's!!
Culinary Divinity in a Catholic City. What could be better?
At Arnaud's, not only is the food amazing, but they feature a live, three piece jazz band that circles around from table to table. We were serenaded with our first dance song while eating my favorite dessert. It could not have been more perfect. �
The food was excellent. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was festive and lovely. A jazz trio played during dinner and came to each table and took requests. I visited New Orleans for the first time over President’s Day weekend with a friend of mine. Although we enjoyed the experience of the Bourbon Street scene, we quickly realized we were more of the calmer bar atmosphere. Thanks to a recommendation from Elizabeth Pearce via the Beyond Bourbon Street Podcast (great podcast, by the way!) we found our way to the French 75 bar. It was perfect!
