I contacted Armstrong and set an appointment for Tuesday. They wouldn't give us a set time, just said they would give us a half hour notice before arrival. Had a simple kitchen drain blockage and was told we would be charged a flat rate (after $79 service fee) for the repair. When the technician arrived we were quoted $325 to snake out the drain but it could go up if it took more than 40 minutes. I cancelled the service and had J J Kokesh & Son Inc. come out. They charged me a fair $141 for the 30 minute job. I would not recommend Armstrong. Deceptive and inflated pricing.

My mistake for not taking the time to fully assess the problem before calling an expert, but I was a little shocked at the cost. Also, they attempt to sell a "preferred customer contract". If you sign up you get a discount. This came across as we are going to charge you more to ge... read more
