Always very expensive. Won't write you a prescription so you can buy online to save money. He makes you buy it there at 3 times the cost. Handles our toy dogs very rough and scared the hell of of me and the dogs. I found another vet that is reasonable on rated, will write prescriptions and doesn't strap a tight muzzle on your baby as soon as you walk through the door. I am not impressed at all with the general lack of organization or the lack of communication that was on display by Dr. Armstrong and his staff. The assistants seemed like it was a chore just to do their jobs,and my pet was kept there for 2 full days before they did the surgery that he was kept there to do. I was lied to on the second day that he was there,"he is next in line", which was obviously a lie because they didn't even do the surgery until the 3rd day. The best in Texas. – I have been to quite a few veternarians with my pets in the past years. This includes a few in my new city of (new job) Longview, Texas. I have never seen a veternarian 'cover all the bases' and actually try to care for my dogs like Dr. Armstrong. One problem that has plagued my poor Lab for many years and many dollars was solved after Dr. Armstrong correctly diagnosed it. I've heard and read about high vet costs here in Longview.....bah!
