There is no 7 year guarantee with Armor Coat Refinishing.Armor Coat refinished my tub in Tuckerton on 3/31/10.My two May 2013 voice mails reporting bleed-through to Armor Coat have been ignored for over a week.No response to reported Armor Coat deterioration; therefore no guarantee.
I strongly advise all of those looking to have their tubs refinished that they AVOID Armor Coat Refinishing. In June 2009 I hired Armor Coat Refinishing to refinish my bath tub. In December 2011 I called to explain that my tub only after two and a half years was pealing and chipping in multiple locations on the tub. The first chip was small (the size of a pencil eraser) and appeared about 7 months ago. Please disregard my previous review! Im trying to have it removed. It was a big misunderstanding. He came back out and fixed what was necessary and the tub came out good. Im so happy not to look at a yellow tub anymore! He was very accomodating in making arrangements to come back out. Sorry if the previous review did any harm.
I just had my fiberglass shower/tub refinished yesterday and I am very unhappy with the results. Of course, Mike from Armor Coat has not yet returned any of my calls. If I dont hear from him soon, I will call the BBB. Ill keep you posted on my results. Wish I would have done more research before booking him.
i could not have been more happy with fine work that armor coat has done for me i would tell anyone to use them.and a great price and nice guy to boot..
We had a very bad experience with Armor Coat- Toms River, NJ contractor. He did a regular tub and a big jacuzzi tub in couple hours for \$800 cash. After he left, we could still see the old color through and as we took the tape off, the paint came off with it. I called him several times and sent him a letter, but he never responded. He says 7 year warranty, but what is the point if you dont even get back to the customer to find out what the problem is. So, dont use him.
