New Armando's going down This bar restaurant has fallen apart since they reopened. The bar used to be good until the older bartender started to be inattentive & smelled alcohol in his breath & constantly going in & out of the place. I had dinner here with a few friends this weekend really disappointing.The service was really slow & rude. The waiter was not helpful with the menu. I will start going to custom house a few doors down heard real good feedback on them sorry Armando's your not cutting it anymore.
prefer Custom house anytime Armando's through time got worse it took a while to get beer service from the bartender when I came for a drink with my girl, because he was nowhere to be found half the time. I tried having dinner here the night before thanksgiving real nightmare service was very slow & unattentive. My lasagna came out really dry smaller portion then in the past when I use to come here. Try Custom house next door Food here use to be real good years ago until it got very mediocre and service inexperienced, prices really got high. someone recommended Custom house two doors down will check them out this weekend sorry wont be coming back.
big expense for the same food and treatment Armando's became really expensive through time and it is not like they did any changes with the food it still the same. Service is hit or miss depending on whose there on certain nights. My wife and I tried to have some seafood but didn't pan out very well. There are other Italian restaurants in the area try them out avoid this place.
Not what it was Armando's is not what it was in terms of food quality use to be better and the service got really slow and inattentive. It took the waitress 20 min to get my order and get me something to drink it seems they don't pay too much attention had to change my order twice because they would serve me the wrong food. Armando's is not the place anymore try oh my pasta across the street from them there not bad.
slow service and not attentive I tried to have dinner in Armando's three nights ago and was a little disappointed. It took 15 min for someone to notice me sitting at my table and take my order. I finally got my food asked for a red wine waitress forgot it twice in a row, by the time I got my check I was glad to be out of there. A lousy chef I came to have dinner with my family last Christmas, ordered shrimp parmigiana it tasted way too hard and over cooked. Service was very slow that night it took a while to get our red wines and glasses of water. I made an attempt to switch over to lasagna and went it was served to me it was spread out every where don't know where they hired this cook he is doing a lousy job especially on Christmas day. My family and I felt embarrassed beyond our wildest dreams.
Not the same restaurant I half to be honest Iam relieved that I went to river deli instead of Armando's for valentines day this year because this store stinks beyond belief the waitress I dealt with last week was too slow and forgot things quite a bit. My spaghetti with sauce was over cooked and burned a little dont know who the cook is but hope the mgr will half a chat with him and look into this prices went up to a vast level remember when it was more reasonable before they closed and renovated. I will not be back.
waste of money for stale food I paid close to 25 bucks for a dish of food that wasn't cooked right is this cook new or is he tired don't know what to make of the situation. I had to replace my pasta twice before it finally came back to me. 12 bucks for a wine that is really pushing it with the prices makes no sense to me traviata wasn't this expensive.
