My go to place for jewellery repairs and custom pieces! I have visited Armand's many times, going back to before COVID. Their work is solid and good quality. I enjoy the custom pieces they have created for me everyday. Their repair work is also excellent and always my first choice if I ever need anything repaired. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others about my experience. I came in to have the battery replaced on a watch I bought second-hand. After the service, the watch still wasn’t working, and I assumed the watch itself was faulty. I then took it to another repair shop in Oakville. The watchmaker looked at it and told me the battery that had been put in was completely dead. He replaced it in less than five minutes and the watch immediately started working. I took a pair of white gold and diamond hoop earrings to be repaired (the lever back closure on one of the earrings wasn’t working), and they said they would send it out to be repaired. They called to say the earrings were ready days later, and I went to pick them up. The earring was not fixed, and it is now in two pieces, the sales girl said “I guess they couldn’t fix it”, I said, “then I wish they would’ve left it in one piece instead of taking it apart if they didn’t know how to fix it”. Armand was top notch service. From the Jewellers being so nice and informative to have the best prices. They helped me feel comfortable and confident about my purchase.
They do have some nice selection but the 50% off does not make sense as the prices after the discount are exact same as what another jeweller charges usually. Double the price first and then bring to normal after a so called discount may be not an appropriate sales strategy.
