we drove 5-hr round trip to see Dr. Allie and I 10/10 would do it again. She is so worth the trip. Dr. Allie is one of the few providers in the tongue-tie world who understands how everything is connected. She took the time to talk through and educate me on the how's and why's before getting the release (same day). Before seeing Dr Allie and Dr Nalan (PT) our daughter had only taken 0.5-1.0oz from the bottle maybe 5 times in five months. Since the procedure and working with Dr Nalan as well (referred to us by Dr Allie) our daughter has been taking 4+oz every night no problem. Truly a remarkable change. It was a really tough decision for my wife and I to go through with this but we are so glad we did, after getting through it all we would definitely recommend it to families struggling with bottle, breast feeding, tongue and or lip ties.
Dr. Allie Lonneman is exceptional. She spent 45 minutes upfront educating us and listening to our experience. She made us feel very seen and procedure was quick and easy. She makes herself very available for follow up questions or assistance.
Dr. Allie was clearly made to work with babies! As parents, we went in to our appointment nervous and hesitant. Dr. Allie was kind, thorough, and transparent about what she thought needed to be done and what we could “watch and wait” on. She was so patient with our 3 month old and gave us all the time and space we needed to make sure he was calm and comfortable (and that we were, too!). We are grateful we found her practice.
Dr. Allie patiently and thoroughly explained everything to us and went above and beyond to ensure that a viable treatment plan is available for our child. Feeling grateful to have chosen this practice.
