Great local lumber yard resource, homeowner friendly
Bought a new house and needed some trim boards. Called and the staff was extremely helpful. Not only did they take the time to provide information on my inquiry, but they even confirmed availability before I made the trip. If you're not a contractor going there all the time it was a little confusing on how to enter since the parking lot is in the lumber yard. Best thing was that it was cheaper than Home Depot AND I got to support a local business! #winwininmybook
I expected better customer service from Arlington Lumber. Instead, I was laughed at and treated disrespectfully. No customer should ever feel this way when visiting a store.
When I asked where the deck samples were, the employee told me, “Can you give me just one second, because what you did was rude/ugly.” Another worker laughed sarcastically and told me to “just go upstairs.” I explained it was my first time in the store and I didn’t know where to go, but the employee responded again in a dismissive tone. Very unprofessional and disrespectful experience.
