This place is awful. If I hadnt of been so sick the last couple years I would be out. The building has switched hands so many times in the last 7 years, that not much (if any) maintenance has been done. It takes forever to get anyone into your apartment to fix anything. I have been living with a disgusting clogged/leaking sink, a broken toilet and a huge fire saftey issue- i've had to use the tips of my fingernails (from day one-9years) to unlock/lock deadbolt. Slumlord wannabe. Rent here and you deserve what you get. Infestations and minimal repairs if any.
I just moved out after living here for 3 years and want to give a detailed and fair review of my experience. The building is in a fairly safe and quiet location on the edge of suburbs with a few amenities (grocery store, shoppers drug mart, some restaurants, etc.) just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. My kitchen and bathroom were renovated right before I moved in and overall it was pretty nice place for the price I was paying (1460 for a 1-bedroom with outdoor parking in 2019). I am about to become a tenant in this building. This will be my first home in Canada. So far everything has been great for me and we like this place. Some of the comments here really concern me.
