My last appointment I left and cried all the way home. For an entire year I inquired about being switched from a toxic thyroid med to a holistic(naturethroid) I was led on for an ENTIRE YEAR- she would give an excuse similar to..."well it is a big deal to switch medicines , let's just let your body cope with this for now" etc etc etc. The last appointment I felt so degraded and straight up like a guinea pig- she denied ever insinuating that I could eventually go holistic & REFUSED TO HELP ME GO HOLISTIC! This is a very wonderful Doctor, always kept me in the know. She was through in letting me know how my test came out and available to answer my questions. Her professional demeanor and work ethic is above reproach and I will miss her. She is the best of the best and I wish her the best wherever she may go. Dr. Ponce-Mendez is extremely kind-hearted, and friendly listening clearly and giving you as much time to speak as needed to hear out all of your questions and concerns, and the staff match her energy equally. she will be missed here!!
