My initial appointments with Dr. Uy went well enough that I kept going, but when she closed her Lincoln Square office to move to strictly downtown appointments, the level of care went downhill fast. For example, after I'd had my yearly eye exam and sent her the results, she called me to talk about how "bad" the results were. This surprised me, considering my very slight retinopathy had ever-so-slightly improved, and my eye doctor showed me the results at the time, even showing me the comparisons from the prior year. What a wonderful visit with Dr Arlene Uy. She was so easy to talk to, I felt as though she was really concerned with me and my health. It’s been years since I felt at ease with a first time visit
After 25 years of northwestern doctors Dr Uy is at the top of the list. Easy to talk to actually follows up with phone calls I wish every doctor was like her - excellent!
