Took my 1yr old and 3yr old. Had a good time but I was really not happy that the kid rides made parents pay to ride too. My kid couldn’t ride by himself because he’s too short so I had to ride with him. I had to pay $2.50-$3.25 per ride for myself! Did I want to ride? No. Did I find enjoyment in stuffing my body into these small spaces? No. But I did it for my kid. Parents shouldn’t have to pay. The whole set up is super over priced anyway, why squeeze every last dollar out of these families who live in one of the poorest st... read more

Is there anywhere that states the fairgrounds would close off parking to come in before 10pm? Arrived at 945ish and left because we were told no parking inside gates you can use the walk thru though and park in neighboring yards... not happening.

My daughter couldn’t ride hardly any rides because she was supposedly too short. They wouldn’t let my 11 year old son ride with her either. The height restrictions on some rides are ludicrous!

The prices of the arm bands is ridiculous. You jumped from 15 to 30 in a matter of years. Don't try to make the citizens pay for your new construction you did over there in the last couple years. Smdh. Everything is extremely unaffordable. I spent $140 in less than 2 hrs. Turkey legs 13 and 12 dollars. Used to be 5 or 6 dollars. Greed greed greed. Smh

Business response:

IT's been over 10 years since ride bands were $15, and that was an advance purchase price special. The price only went up $2 this past year, and they were at $28 for the past 4 years. We have a new carnival provider this year, and the $2 increase is a bargain for all the extra rides and quality they have brought. The construction you have seen over here was a highway department job on a new bridge that they funded and completed. It was not a fairgrounds project. I just want to make sure you have all the correct information s... read more
