I had a very disappointing experience with McKenna, the receptionist. When I ran out of my medication, she repeatedly refused to transfer me to the nurse and ended the calls without offering appropriate assistance. Due to this lack of professionalism and support, I ultimately had to cancel my appointment and switch providers.
I have enjoyed the mental health services APC provides me and will continue to utilize them as I cope with OCD, AUD, MDD, and GAD. With all the disorders listed, life can sometimes be incredibly difficult. I finally feel stable in my head after years of battling my demons, depression, and substance abuse. My provider here seems to be very interested in me and my recovery from substances and willing to think about how best to treat my disorders. I had been really struggling to make it to this appointment but when the day finally got here I was turned away at the front desk because I was only 5 minutes early for my appointment and apparently (untold to me previously) they require you to come 30 minutes early for your appointment. I had confirmed via text and it was not mentioned that I would have to reschedule if I couldn’t arrive 30 minutes prior to the appointment. Minus 1 star for patient care
Adam is the best! He is proactive in his response to change, he hears concerns and does his best to change things according to need. So glad that I found him when I did, Feb 2025 was the worst my mental health had been and within the first appointment he was able to treat my needs and help me get to where I am currently. Thank you Adam you have made such a difference in my life.
