Ark did new deck in nearly the configuration I had built 40 years ago…they did clean job getting rid of old and built very solid substructure. They did a very good job on deck and when I did not like railing it was redone to my satisfaction. I recommend his work which was so much better than fellow I hired earlier to redo front stairs. We hired Ark Joinery to do our deck and some Reno’s on the exterior of our house this past summer/fall. Raschad and Wade were very friendly, professional, and competent for the work required. They did a great job, and we are looking to hire them again to work on our roof and a three season room this year.
We hired Ark Joinery this past fall for a gate and fence to close off our yard since we have two dogs. Raschad built a beautiful fence and gate, and he went out of his way for us to make sure he could fit the project in before Winter came. His quote was very reasonable, and he was great to work with, giving us multiple options to consider for the style of the gate and fence to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Raschad did some work at my house and was friendly and courteous. The work was done well, and he went above and beyond with some extras that we were super appreciative of, definitely would recommend.
Raschad and Wade built a timber retaining wall (with tie backs) and a low deck along our waterfront last fall (2022). The shoreline was irregular and the back of part of the deck needed to be cut around boulders, and we wanted an opening for a fire pit cut into one part of it. Removing the old concrete pads it replaced was not easy and involved drilling and splitting some very large boulders, but all of the work was done expertly and we could not be happier with the quality of the work. Definitely 5 stars.
