Up until my last visit a few weeks ago I had been a very satisfied client of AZ Women's Imaging for over 6 years, and had always recommended them to friends. Two problems with the last appointment: I actually had to argue with the dexa scan technician about whether or not she would scan my spine (she did after finally consulting with the doctor in charge); and the report was not available to the doctor I see for osteoporosis when I arrived for my appointment with him, as had been promised. Outstanding competency – I registered for this website just to be able to write a review for Dr Friedman and Dr Rose. I have been their client for years, and totally recommend them. Not only are they among the best radiologists in southern Arizona, they are kind and compassionate human beings. The combination is priceless

Professional AND compassionate – Exceptionally professional, highly experienced, AND compassionate physicians, technicians, and staff. (Combination that is very difficult to find anywhere in medical practice today.) Drs. Rose and Friedman both have excellent communication styles. Communication of results with my primary care physician is almost immediate. I have been getting mammograms for the past 3 years and recently had mammograms suspicious enough requiring biopsy. FIRST VISIT – I AM NEW TO AZ. MY GYNO REFERRED ME TO THIS GROUP. HAVE HAD MAMMOS FOR OVER 15 YEARS. FIRST TIME I HAD BRUISING WITH MY RECENT VISIT TO AZ WOMEN'S IMAGING & WAS BROUGHT TO TEARS WITH THE COMPRESSIONS. I AM LARGE BREASTED & DIMUNITIVE IN HEIGHT. 5 YRS AGO I HAD DIAGNOSIS OF DUCTAL HYPERPLASIA.NOTHING ON THEIR QUESTIONNAIRE ASKED FOR DIAGNOSIS. HAD CALL BACK FOR MORE TESTS. By far the Best – By far the best place to go for ANY women's issues requiring mammograms, scopes, xrays, scans, etc. I have spent many a day at this office for a myriad of reasons ranging from breast issues to female and gastric problems. Always pleasant, alwayas professional and always empathetic. Cute little pink gowns, warm/private waiting area in the back. Utmost confidentiality. Now, if they'd just offer hot tea and a pedicure..........:)

Women Dedicated to Helping Women – I am alos a fan of Arizona Womens Imaging. I believe the review from the unhappy person was possibly due to a lack of understanding of how screening mammograms are done and why additional testing is some times needed. I had my screening mammogram as usual and was not asked to return for "upgraded testing" but asked to return because the Dr saw something on my screening test. PIONEERS IN THEIR FIELD – I HAVE BEEN GOING TO ARIZONA WOMEN'S IMAGING FOR SOME TIME NOW AND I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THE REVIEW I JUST READ ABOUT THEM. IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT THE STAFF THERE IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY AND VERY UNDERSTANDING. PRICING IS IN LINE WITH OTHER FACILITIES I HAVE GONE TO IN THE PAST, SO THAT HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE. If possible, go somewhere else – The tests (mammogram, ultrasound) I had done at Arizona Women's Imaging were nearly twice the price of other places I've gone. Additionally, It seems they do "upgrades" (go in for one thing, but end up having multiple tests) for your testing and you're not sure until you get the bill. It was an odd experience with a "sales" like feel. My suggestion is that you find out what other facilities are available.
