Dr. Baumgardner always listens with compassion and provides expert advice on medication management. Where I have found nothing but judgement and scorn in the past at other providers, this office provides welcome relief from that. Everyone treats you with kindness. Be honest and forthcoming with her and she will help you get through the bumps in life.
Doctor Barbara has been an invaluable resource to our special needs family for several years, now. She has counseled us through many hardships, grief, severe OCD and anxiety, and even a couple of scary periods of deep crisis. She is tremendously knowledgeable and deeply compassionate. With mental health issues, sometimes things get a little worse before they get better. She has never steered us wrong, and my family is stronger and more successful with her guidance.
Dr. Baumgardner listens carefully and is responsive even between sessions. She's been wonderful with me and my teenagers. The worse I can say is that it took a while to get in to see her but she is worth the wait. If you need help, call Dr. Baumgardner!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! My son visited Dr. Bomgardner in the middle of October for high anxiety. It was quite a while until we got into her office which I thought was a good sign. I wish she would not be excepting new patients then we would not of had to go through what we went through in the hour that we met with her. She was Awful in the way she talk to my son and myself.
