This message is to Dr Tay The receptionist staff at Arizona State Urology - Arrowhead location is entirely unprofessional and the whole reason I will not be continuing at this location. I was sent to urology after having urgency. My general care physician already ruled out UTI, and BV. So I got sent to Arizona State Urology. I made the followup appointment for a Urodynamics test - that was suppose to happen 2 weeks after my first appointment. Then one week before I was told that I have a UTI??? Total experience was not only negative. I have been hospitalized 3 times with life threatening infections, insulted and when asked for suggestions ridiculed. Dr. is too self centered to care about patience. His nurse and much of the staff are unprofessional. When I was hospitalized the first time his answer was the Doctor's and hospital over reacted. I had to have a catheter removed at the hospital due to Cepsis. When the doctor's office informed us the doctor would not remove the catheter because he had not put it in. I had... read more
Knowledgable physician, sorely incomptent in respecting the times of patients. Wait times are absurd and unreal. I don't believe any physician is worth waiting over 60+ minutes PAST your scheduled appointment to be taken back only to wait an additional 30-45 minutes to be seen by a physician for 5 minutes. The sheer arrogance that is displayed is nothing short of dumbfounding. Patients have lives, work, etc. We take time out of our day to see our physicians when we need care. Very pleased to have found Dr. Tay. I had previously undergone tests with another provider which returned inconsistent results. I wanted a fresh perspective in order to get a proper diagnosis. Dr. Tay ordered the *correct* test, we got the right data, and now I’m in complete control of my condition. Excellent outcome.
Giving 3 stars is more than I was planning to give. I have been with Dr. Tay for like 16+ years cuz he’s the most skilled Dr I know in the field. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the wait time. I am often in the waiting room at least an hour past my appointment then when I’m called back, it’s another 45 minutes wait for Dr. Tay. It’s terrible bedside manners to be THAT late to a patient’s appointment. However, he’s the best in Urology and would like to stay with him. I just hate that my husband threatens to le... read more
