The vet and vet techs were excellent! They answered all my questions very clearly and took the time to do follow up phone calls and emails. You all made what was a very traumatic experience for both myself and the patient filled with both information and empathy!! THANKS!! The bird lady vet tech was EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate. She pointed me to a local pet place (Tropical ...?) that helped me set up a new cage etc for my special needs cockatiel. THANK YOU!!!!!! Expertise, follow up and compassion.
I love this place and feel so grateful to be around people who care about small/exotic animals so deeply. They have always been very empathetic and helpful every time I’ve gone. When I lost my other hamster (not the one pictured) they made me a mold of his paw prints and sent a card to my home, there are amazing people here. Today they gave me extra syringes for my hamsters medicine after mine had broken and had them ready as soon as I walked in, couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Dr Klein is the most compassionate & knowledgeable exotic vet I've ever encountered. All of the staff are kind & helpful. We love this vet so much we drive 5+ hours from New Mexico to take our guinea pigs several times a year, even for preventative wellness checks. We stopped bothering with going to our closest exotic vet in El Paso, as they usually just give me a 5 minute lecture on how & what we feed them & then tell me they are not experienced with the procedure we need and have to go to Arizona anyway. My bunnies love their vet. Arizona exotic animal hospital has always been very good to my bunnies. They recently saved my bunny midnight's life.
