When you call to make a doctor’s appointment, do you want to be routed to an overseas call center, give a stranger all your personal information, then get told ‘have a nice day, someone will call you back to schedule’? Do you want to enter all your info into their patient portal and never hear back? If so, Arizona Advanced Surgery is the place for you. I recently had a hernia repair surgery that was pretty major with Dr. Kumar in the Scottsdale office and I have to tell you in my almost 51 years of life. She was the best doctor and the best surgeon I have ever come across in my life in all the states that I’ve lived in very courteous, always helpful. Her staff was the same Professional and courteous 100%. So this place was very clean and i was welcomed by name as soon as i walked in the door. My nurse was super nice and spent plenty of time going over my paperwork and answering questions. The anesthesiologist came in and went over a few things a little quicker bc she had laryngitis and was coughing. She was kind enough to wear a mask. The doctor came in cracking jokes and got some back which lightened the mood a bit bc i dont like having surgery and was quite nervous. These people should be shut down. My insurance paid them over $300 for a consultation. They were supposed to call me with results on a test...they were also supposed to send me a referral for something else...that was LAST October. Have not heard a peep. Had to go to another doctor. They want another $47 copay...I find myself asking, for what...see you in #3!! Before I pay a dime.
