I’ve lived at Century Ariva for some time, but this summer has been a nightmare. My AC broke on June 3rd, and it took almost 7 weeks to fix it. I had to constantly follow up just to get any updates, and the portable unit they gave me barely helped and raised my power bill. Worse, after AC repair, my carbon monoxide alarm went off. The maintenance guy came, forced it off, and never told me to evacuate or provide an explanation. I was looking to move. We filled out the application took a tour and I got an email from the office telling us the process. I started the pet screening and then was worried we would lose the apartment. no lease was signed. I never received a lease, nor signed one. So we paid the $500 waiting for the emotional support animal paperwork to clear through the Petscreening in order to show our intent to move in. We cannot move now. & century ariva will not return our money. We only paid it in good faith.

Great area to live in. The rent is crazy expensive. Maintenance and staff aren’t very helpful at all. When you need something from the office, they don’t acknowledge you and you wait for about 20 mins before getting helped. Staff is also not very friendly, they treat you as if you’re bothering them. You also pay about $75 a month for valet trash and they don’t even take certain boxes or bags, so you have to walk to the dumpster and throw your trash away yourself when you pay almost $100 for it.
