We had to fight for this follow up because of a PICU stay due to my sons seizures. He was in status for 24 hours. Comes into the room with an attitude asking what I needed from him. I said a follow up was ordered to make sure the meds were doing good. I explained that my son was having bad side effects and what could be done about it He said he couldnt see my son until a g tube placed. We absolutely adore Dr. Pena. We trust him and we are blessed to have him as our grandson ‘s physician.
Horrible experience as well. Do not recommend. This seems like a trend for this doctor. He is the only pediatric neurologist in area and his ego matches. I appreciate help in finding diagnosis but I will not spend hundreds of dollars to be treated this poorly. Finding another even if I have to drive to Shreveport.
Time says 8 to 11 and 1 to 4. I've been here since 130 trying to get paperwork for my son's blood work. Been knocking on office doors and glass and can clearly hear everyone laughing in the background but nobody will even acknowledge I'm here.
Very caring and helpful! Always inquisitive and pays attention to every detail.
We LOVE Dr. Pena! He is amazing with our son and truly cares about his health and well being. He is extremely attentive and thorough! Couldn't ask for a better neurologist!
