First of all their listing is misleading on Psychology today. They listed themselves located in Ridgewood...they were not. They listed that they accepted my insurance...I had to pay out of network. Dr. Judy was my therapist in 1996 for a year or two and helped me out with some issues I had had. When I needed therapy again in 2015 and saw Dr. Judy for the first time in around twenty years, she knew immediately who I was- my name, my history. That showed me how well she listened to me and cared for me; and that's why, I continue to see Dr. Judy because I feel as if I will never find another therapist who can be as thoughtful as she is. I have been a patient of Dr Judy Gurfine for several years. I have found her to be warm, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. She has helped me immensely with anxiety, depression, panic attacks and eating disorders. My functioning at work and relationships have improved tremendously. I would highly recommend her.
