Was told i could only see a very conservative counselor or nobody.
Arise is like a puppy mill for low level mental health counselors. "Breezie" is quick to judge, she was not able to treat me as a whole person. Zero compassion, inflexible. Officious instead of empathetic. Unwilling or unable to use multiple or different modalities. I was penalized for communicating between meetings. Has her own mental health issues she will be happy to tell you about. She treated me poorly and made up rules as she went. Turnover at this counselor clearing house is high.
I reached out to Arise counseling in a really rough spot mentally. I was assigned to Kathleen Bunten. She helped me work through things in my life and learn where things were stimming from. We had weekly appointments and she never missed one. I’m very thankful I got the chance to work with her. I would highly recommend her if you are seeking a counselor.
