Do not …I repeat ….do not buy a mower from Ariens! These people are so intellectually dishonest! I bought a zero turn from Lowe’s and the thing has been in the shop for months! The Ariens certified dealer (where the mower is) can’t even fix it! Lowe’s said they aren’t gonna give me a refund and Ariens won’t return my calls / emails! I just purchased the Ariens platinum 28 inch 389cc SHO Rapidtrak Snow Blower Brand new shipped from factory. The discharge chute does not work. Now they told me to pay 200$ to get it picked up by a local dealer for warranty work on the chute. Ridiculous after paying over 3000$ for the machine. This machine is useless right now. Issues already and never used yet. Do not buy from Ariens.
Poor customer service, in general. Snowblowers became crap long ago. My early 90s blower was much better than either of my post-2010 blowers. Theyre just churning out quantity now. Ariens used to stand for something.
