Dr. Goldman is everything and more. My mother took a bad fall and ended up in the trauma unit at Northwell. She broke her shoulder and Dr. Goldman explained everything clearly and thoroughly. He did the surgery and all went fabulous. He gets 10 stars for returning calls and calling with updates on her condition. Very highly skilled, professional and a top notch communicator. Cannot thank him enough.
Spent less than 30 seconds doing a physical exam on a foot that another dr said had a fracture. He was handed the imaging report from another hospital but said he didn’t want to read it. Suggested another x ray or mri which would drive an urgent surgery as he stated, but put the mri as not urgent delaying a diagnosis. When we asked several more questions he left the room saying “do whatever you want” with an attitude.
Dr. Goldman is an amazing surgeon. It has now been almost 10yrs since I had an extremely severe open pelvic fracture which put me in a coma for some time. I had icu delirium and did not really understand the extent of my injuries then. But now that I understand and have done my research on the injuries that I sustained and many doctors surprised on how well I have healed, I’ve realized how lucky I was to get Dr. Goldman as my surgeon!
