I've had three root canals over the years with him and one with an endodontist that my dentist refers me to. In terms of character. he is quality through and through. He never rushes you through. At Christmas time, he actually gave me a permanent filling after the root canal for free so I wouldn't have to go to the dentist over the Christmas break.He uses both an electronic machine and manual measurement to call out and check canal lengths. Talked to Dr Smith about my problem, He answered me on his cell phone, After hours, On a Friday,Dr Smith took the time to listen to my problem, Told me to call office Monday Morning, He has done maybe four Root Canals for me, This man is one of the finest Doctors I have ever met in my life, Best thing is he has the compassion and Personality to go along with it, Best in Grand Rapids for sure.
I had an emergency appointment and they got me in quickly. Dr Smith is very kind and explains exactly what he is doing while working in your mouth. He answered all of my questions and ended up working an hour later than his normal closing time on me. I highly recommend Dr Smith!
I was referred to Dr. Smith for two root canals. He does a great job explaining what he is seeing during the examination and walking through treatment options. I highly recommend him to others.
Best dental experience Dr Smith sat down and reviewed ALL of my options for treatment and gave me ballpark prices for the different options. Then, during the root canal procedure, he was constantly talking to me...telling me what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what (if anything) I would feel. A great doctor....I highly recommend.
