Called yesterday (2/22/22) around noon to schedule an appointment. I unexplainably infuriated the lady I spoke to when I told her I didn't have a preference between their two locations. I was willing to travel to which ever had an opening on Thursday. She got very upset and yelled at me lol, so I just decided to not schedule the appointment and find another doctor.
In response: This patient had no insurance and came to me for a simple diagnosis of DRY EYE. I prescribed Restasis, the drug of choice, which takes about 2-3 months to kick in, Alrex, a mild steroid which makes the eye more comfortable, and artificial tears. This is the standard of care.
