It felt weird to hand my credit card to the doctor...also really didn't feel like I got any useful help. I went 4 times and didn't walk away with one "ah-ha" moment or guidance of any sort. Dr Ari Holtz said he was trainied in cognitive behavioral therapy and that's what we should start… But we never did any of that all the times I went in. I feel like I wasted my money and time and told a stranger all of my secrets for no good reason at all. Really an underlying feeling of him really not caring at all.
I saw Dr. Holtz for just under a year. I felt he did a great job mixing a laid back, comfortable attitude with challenging questions and insightful advice. I definitely felt I got something significant out of each session. I would recommend him to others looking for therapy or counseling.
I worked with Dr. Holtz at Clarkson Counseling on a number of issues. He was of great help to me and my family. I would definitely refer him to others.
