Had been chatting to someone regarding getting a custom wedding ring made and was told to come in any time. So made the trip up (30 min drive) on Friday the 17th of October only to find that the store was closed. I messaged the contact and was told that they open later on Fridays, at 9:30am, meanwhile this was at 10:05am. So I just hung around until they opened. My fiance visited Argyle to prepare for the proposal, and Judy from the team was absolutely amazing. She supported him every step of the way, and thanks to her help, I had the most unforgettable and magical proposal of my life. Judy was super friendly and professional, and when I later visited the Garden City Argyle store to get my engagement ring resized, the rest of the staff were just as lovely and helpful. Very poor experience… don’t recommend this jeweler for repairs. Feeling scammed & dissatisfied. Beware - they don’t stick to their quotes or completion times. My experience: The clasp on my 14 karat gold chain broke. I went to Argyle on 26 September and was given a quote of $180 for repairs. I was told pickup on October 10th at the latest. I’ve received a phone call today (9 October) saying the price is now $295 and it’ll be at least a week longer as NOTHING has been done.
