I went in concerned about recent weight loss and left with a referral to a bariatric surgeon. . This was perplexing, as bariatric surgery is typically recommended for people who are overweight, and the surgeon himself admitted to having no expertise in treating cases like mine. She wasn't a great listener and now my health chart includes inaccuracies which she doesn't seem motivated to amend.
