My wife and I recently participated in a sailing lesson at Areys Pond Boatyard. Our instructor, Jamie, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made to whole experience a real joy. He is a real asset to the organization. We wanted to become familiar with catboat sailing and came away with a new interest in these boats. We highly recommend this experience.
I took a lesson there. The instruction was great. Layed back and good information with a lot of “ok, now you do it”. I’ve had a little sailing experience so it was all in my comfort zone. The area, the scenery, phenomenal. Definitely going back.

Very good lesson. Well planned and delivered. The instructor was very experienced. We covered a lot of basic sailing information as well as get in a good sail. I signed up for additional lessons.
