The Onero progarm run by Nick at Ares Strength Rehab could be an excellent start for people like me who are older and want to do some weight training if you have been diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopaenia like myself. It is a very safe way to start off a weights program with expert analysis and guidance from a patient and conscientious instructor, Nick. I thoroughly recommend his service.

Nick Adkins, Onero Program, Ares Strength Rehab I recently found out I have osteopenia after suffering a compression fracture of my spine. This was a slow and lengthy recovery with 6 months in a back brace before even starting to feel normal again. I never want to go through that again, and I set out to figure out what I can do to strengthen my bones. After listening to The Drive podcast with Peter Attia, I heard an interview with Belinda Beck and the Onero Program, and I knew that was exactly what I needed. Luckily, I ... read more

Nick at Ares Strength and Rehab phas done a ... read more

Diagnoses via another Dexa scan indicated the Osteopenia had progressed to become Osteoporosis. After years of experience with Pilates before moving to this area at Airport West (Melbourne), I was looking to commence the Onero program that has scientifically shown to increase bone density and muscle mass. Nick Adkins at Ares Strength Gym has completed additional training to deliver the Onero Program. I have completed four months of his instruction and have been throughly impressed with his knowledge, exercise technique and... read more

Last year I was dealing with an unusual back issue and Nick was one of the only people who actually helped with supporting the issue, he comes with no ego like many other allied health people I had worked with and took time to assess what's going on and give honest advice and help. Highly recommend!
