I've had Area Plumbing (sent by Old Republic Home Warrenty Service) come out several times for different needs. I find Johnny Leach to be an experienced plumber with a forthright manner. He will tell you the facts and work with you to resolve the problem. This week he came to check out a drippy shower head which proved to be a valve problem for a 30 plus year old, discontinued system. All other reviews are accurate...this is a HORRIBLE company! I was put in touch through the home warranty company and will not be using Area Plumbing again under any circumstances. The owner billed the warranty company $120 for an estimate on top of the $60 service charge I paid him at the time of the visit. Then billed the warranty company for another visit that he did not make. These charges were then taken out of the maximum amount the warranty company would cover for the issue and nothing had been fixed. He also complete... read more
