Despite my mourning the loss of Endless Cycles, I found a new bike shop I really like. Now, I put more energy into finding a bike shop I trust than finding a husband (Kevin was just pure luck and pitty for me on his part). I emailed Kenji and he responded immediately. Didn't try to sell me anythig and he understood my lame pathetic excuse for what I call biking and didn't judge. There was not vibe of Well, you only matter if you ride centuries. I had a couple of friends recommend this place to me when my beach cruiser started acting up (chain kept falling off when riding). Kenji put my bike on the rack adjusted the cranks and some other stuff and in less than 5 minutes told me to drive around the parking lot for a test ride. I immediately knew that the problem was resolved. He charged me 5.00 for the service. I just found my new bike shop.
Great customer service .They take the time to help you and if your not spending much or any money at all they still give you time a great service not like other shops that turn away from you if your not spending enough to make it worth their time . These guys are very reasonable and even help out on old bikes rather then telling you its out dated junk and try to sell you a new bike. Great people here and smiles with positive attitudes.
Im from NY. Came to visit the bay area and found a great place to rent a high end full carbon road bike for a week at a great price. The owner, Kenji, was very personable and accomodating. Took the bike to Lake Tahoe and Mt Diablo. Came home really happy. Thank you Kenji and Area Cycles. I highly recommend this place.
